Die ACS/HRC-Kamera des Hubble-Weltraumteleskops der NASA/ESA beobachtete Uranus im August 2005. Auf der Oberfläche sind weiße Wolken und eine helle Polarregion zu sehen. Die Ringe um den Uranus sind schmal und enthalten felsiges Material von winzigen Staubpartikeln bis hin zu metergroßen Felsbrocken.
