IAU-OAE Conference on Astronomy for Education
The IAU-OAE Conference where the Shaw-IAU workshops left off. The themes of this workshop will be astronomy education with radio astronomy and on inclusive astronomy education for blind & visually impaired students, Deaf & hard of hearing students, and students with mobility issues.

7th Shaw-IAU Workshop
The IAU OAE hosted the 7th Shaw-IAU Workshop on Astronomy for Education from the 18th to the 21st of November 2025. The themes of this workshop were galaxies and astronomy education with authentic data.

6th Shaw-IAU Workshop
The IAU OAE hosted the 6th Shaw-IAU Workshop on Astronomy for Education from the 12th-15th of November 2024. This workshop included special sessions on evaluation and science with JWST.

5th Shaw-IAU Workshop
The IAU OAE hosted the 5th Shaw-IAU Workshop on Astronomy for Education from the 29th of November to the 1st of December 2023. This workshop included special sessions on astronomy education outside the classroom and planetary atmospheres.

4th Shaw-IAU Workshop
The IAU OAE hosted the 4th Shaw-IAU Workshop on Astronomy for Education from the 15th to the 17th of November 2022. The theme of this workshop was "Leveraging the Potential of Astronomy in Formal Education".

3rd Shaw-IAU Workshop
The IAU OAE again hosted the Shaw-IAU Workshop on Astronomy for Education. The theme of this workshop was "What Everyone Should Know About Astronomy Education".

2nd Shaw-IAU Workshop
The IAU OAE hosted the second Shaw-IAU workshop on Astronomy for Education. This meeting was held virtually due to the ongoing pandemic.

1st Shaw-IAU Workshop
The first Shaw-IAU Workshop on Astronomy for Education saw the announcement that the OAE would be hosted by Haus der Astronomie in Heidelberg.

African Regional Shaw-IAU Workshop
The South African Astronomical Observatory hosted the African Regional Shaw-IAU Workshop on Astronomy for Education from the 3rd to the 5th of October 2023.

IAU Offices Family Meeting
The IAU hosts a global meeting linking the IAU's four offices and their national and regional coordinators.
