IAU Offices Family Meeting

The IAU Office of Astronomy for Education recently ran a global “family meeting” for staff from the offices of the IAU (Office of Astronomy for Education, Office of Astronomy for Development, Office for Astronomy Outreach and Office for Young Astronomers) along with the OAE’s National Astronomy Education Coordinators and the OAO’s National Outreach coordinators. This took the form of a series of parallel workshop-style sessions spread over three days.

The Office of Astronomy for Education is hosted by the Haus der Astronomie on the campus of the Max Planck Institute for Astronomy in Heidelberg. The Office of Astronomy for Education is an office of the International Astronomical Union, with substantial funding from the Klaus Tschira Foundation and the Carl Zeiss Foundation.
