Glossary term: Meridiano

Description: As linhas de longitude também são chamadas de meridianos. O Meridiano Principal é definido como 0 grau de longitude. Ele passa por Greenwich, em Londres, Reino Unido, e também é conhecido como Meridiano de Greenwich. O antimeridiano fica do outro lado do globo, a 180 graus, e é a base para a Linha Internacional de Data.
