Description: 천체투영관(Planetarium)은 천문 현상을 시각화해 주는 특수 장비가 있는 극장입니다. 대부분의 천체투영관은 특수 영사 장치와 반구형 돔(둥근 반쪽 구 모양의 천장)으로 되어 있습니다. 별과 행성을 돔에 비추면, 관객은 마치 인공적인 밤하늘 아래 앉아 있는 것처럼 느낄 수 있습니다. 전통적인 광기계식 프로젝터는 밤하늘을 그대로 재현하기 위해 특별히 만들어졌습니다. 반면 디지털 천체투영관은 하나 이상의 특수 영사기를 이용해 밤하늘뿐만 아니라 다양한 움직이는 영상까지 보여줄 수 있습니다. 이 덕분에 천체투영관에서는 단순히 천문학뿐만 아니라 여러 주제의 풀 돔 영화도 상영할 수 있습니다. 예를 들어, 관객은 가상의 우주선을 타고 우주를 여행하거나, 인간 DNA 같은 가상의 미시 세계 속을 탐험하는 체험도 할 수 있습니다.
