Description: 臭氧是一種無色或淡藍色的氣體,每個分子由三個氧原子組成。它的化學式為 O₃,對人體有毒。它在大氣中的比例很小,在某些區域可能不超過百萬分之一。根據臭氧所在的位置不同,它可以保護或危害地球上的生命。
大部分臭氧位於平流層,它在那裡起到保護地球表面免受太陽紫外線輻射的作用。由於人類將氯氟烴引入大氣層,臭氧層的保護作用已經減弱,從而增加了患皮膚癌、白內障和免疫系統衰弱的風險。1987 年,《蒙特利爾議定書》禁止使用這些氣體作為制冷劑和氣溶膠噴霧推進劑,隨後平流層臭氧層開始恢復。
