Talk - Bringing Stem To Life Through Radio Astronomy In Schools
Drawing on experiences from the RADIIO project in Pakistan, Greece, and China, this presentation explores how radio astronomy can engage students and teachers in authentic STEM learning. Through online seminars, citizen science, student research projects, radio antenna construction, and international collaboration, participants developed scientific skills while connecting with peers across countries. By providing schools with equipment, educational resources, and ongoing teacher support, the project demonstrates a scalable model for bringing radio astronomy into classrooms worldwide.
