Bratislava has long lacked a public observatory or planetarium, limiting student engagement in practical astronomy. To bridge this gap, the efforts of proactive parents at the Deutsche Schule Bratislava (DSB) and amateur astronomers resulted in a new observatory on the school's roof. Opened in 2024, the facility features a 40cm telescope for night observations and a solar telescope, both on an equatorial mount. Equipped with cameras for astrometry and photometry, the observatory serves as a unique educational tool for DSB and schools across the Bratislava region. This presentation will introduce the DSB Observatory infrastructure, showcase the educational activities developed around it, and discuss future prospects for expanding its regional impact.
