Joseph Ntahompagaze completed his PhD in Astronomy and Astrophysics from Ethiopian Space Science and Technology Institute, Addis Ababa University Ethiopia specialising in Cosmology. Prior to that Ntahompagaze did an MSc in Mathematical Sciences at African Institute for Mathematical Sciences (AIMS-Ghana) under University of Ghana. Ntahompagaze holds a BSc in Physics from Kigali Institute of Science and Technology. Ntahompagaze has published more than 10 publications in peer-reviewed journals. He currently supervises PhD and MSc students from University of Rwanda as well as from Mbarara University of Science and Technology. Ntahompagaze is currently Lecturer and Head of Department of Physics at University of Rwanda, College of Science and Technology. He is a member of Rwanda Astrophysics, Space and Climate Science Research Group.
