3rd Junior High School, Nafpaktos Greece

I was born in 1964 in Amfisa Greece. I studied Physics in order to learn more about space, planets, stars and the universe. I also earned an MSc degree in Meteorology. Now, I work as a Science teacher at the 3rd Junior High School, Nafpaktos, Greece. I am also an amateur astronomer, member of “Orion” astroclub, Patras, Greece.
From 2015 to 2018 I offered free astronomy lessons to students from all schools of Nafpaktos, every Sunday. For this action I was awarded from “Child’s Smile” organization as “the adult who inspired young students”.
Since 2018 I have envisioned and made into reality free internet astronomy lessons in Moodle platform (eclass.orionas.gr) in order to prepare students not only from Nafpaktos but from all over Greece, for their participation in national astronomy competitions. For this action I was named as “Greece’s amateur astronomer of the year 2019”.
