I am Marc Harris Yao fortune from Côte D'Ivoire
(born in Côte d'Ivoire). I did my secondary school at the prestigious scientific high school of Yamoussoukro. I started my university studies at the University of Abobo-Adjamé (now named university of Nangui Abrogoua). After finishing the undergrad, I did my first master degree in space science at the University Félix Houphouët Boigny. Later on, I went to South Africa, where I did an honours degree and another master degree in astrophysics at the university of Cape Town (SA). I finally got a Ph.D. in astrophysics at the University of the Western Cape, South Africa. I am now back home as a lecturer and researcher at the University of Felix Houphouët Boigny. I am the first astrophysicist of the country and also the vice president of the Ivorian Association of Astronomy.
